Community Arts Events Calendar
This calendar lists community-focused regional arts events - visual art, drama, music, dance, and the written and spoken word. To be listed here, an event should have an education or community focus and be of more than local interest.
These include: county and regional chorus and instrumental performances, periodic community arts events such as "First Fridays', contra dances, fiddler mash ups, poetry slams, lunch time organ recitals, and arts festivals. Even flash mob planning could fit. Consequently, it does not include individual acts or events, the primary purpose of which is
to promote more than art.
